
Biography of Patrizia Gucci
Patrizia Gucci represents the 4th generation of the Florentine family who has shaped the world of fashion.
She is a contemporary renaissance Woman who works to create emotions and offers a neverending exploration into beauty and style.
She started her career in the early 80s within the Family business as a PR and eventually co-managed the Brand Image of Gucci.
Then she shifted into creativity and she has also designed Gucci products until 1992
Since 1996 she is an independent designer, a painter and a writer:
She has designed collections of leather forniture, fashion accessories, equestrian products, home appliances tiles and draperies. And she is the founder of the Japanese brand Patti Patti.
As a painter she is best known for her “thin clothed canvases” and has had personal exibitions in European and Arab countries.
She is also the author of four books : “Il piccolo libro della semplicità”, “Single”, “Il fascino della donna libera” and “Charme”, translated and distributed in several languages.
A frequent guest in national TV programs, Patrizia is a socialite who also writes for the Italian magazine “Donna Moderna”.
She has been awarded the “Arts Laudabilis” Prize, in Budapest, by the “Europa Autentical Cultural Organization” and has been invited to lecture at different international Institutions.
Her home in Florence has been recently published in the American magazine “Interiors” as a example of outstanding live/work space.
